§ Terms Plain-English Terms of Use
Six terms. Plain English. No "hereinafters."
- 01 Content ownership. Articles, reports, charts, and calculator code published at builtontenth.com are owned by Built on Tenth LLC. You may quote up to 200 words with attribution and a link back; full-text reposting without permission is not permitted.
- 02 Fair use of research. Internal use of our findings to inform your own operating decisions is encouraged. Commercial republication, training of AI models, or systematic scraping of the site requires written permission — email hello@builtontenth.com.
- 03 Calculator outputs are educational. The seven free calculators produce directional estimates only. No warranty is made on their accuracy for your specific business. They are not financial, legal, or operational advice and should not be used as the sole basis for a business decision.
- 04 Diagnostic deliverable warranty. The paid Market Diagnostic is delivered in accordance with the methodology and the Gap Guarantee at /refund-policy. Beyond those terms, the deliverable is provided as-is — execution and results from following recommendations remain the buyer's responsibility.
- 05 Limitation of liability. Built on Tenth LLC's total liability arising from any deliverable, calculator, or article on this site is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profits damages.
- 06 Jurisdiction. Built on Tenth LLC is formed in the State of Texas. Disputes are governed by Texas law and litigated in courts of competent jurisdiction in Harris County, Texas. We respond to legitimate legal process; we do not honor frivolous demands.
